The Mazda team announced on September 17th, 2020 that the new 2021 Mazda CX-30, it's compact crossover, is getting the addition of the turbocharged Skyactiv-G 2.5 Turbo engine to the 2021 Mazda CX-30.
Mazda is known for their advanced technologies and superb craftsmanship and design and the availability of a turbo option will help set the Mazda CX-30 apart from its class of vehicles. The new turbo engine will deliver an impressive 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque with premium (93 octane) fuel or 227 HO and 310 lb-ft of torque with regular (87 octane) fuel. Mazda feels the combination of the turbo engine and standard i-Activ all-wheel drive system with off-road traction assist helps expand the capabilities of the Mazda CX-30 to offer customers the freedom to explore life in style the way they want.
In addition to the new engine, the top-line Mazda CX-30 sports black-painted wheels, blacked-out mirror caps, a set of larger exhaust tips and "turbo" badging on the tailgate.
